Course Objectives

To build practical, laboratory-based skills in implementing research proposals, constructing data collection tools, conducting pre-tests, and processing/analyzing quantitative and qualitative data using SPSS.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding:

  • CLO1: Formulate and present an academic research proposal.
  • CLO2: Construct and refine data collection tools and questionnaires.
  • CLO3: Implement field-work plans and pilot tests.
  • CLO4: Process, clean, and input data using SPSS software.
  • CLO5: Analyze and interpret descriptive and inferential statistical results in SPSS.
