Course Objectives
To engage students in independent, supervised scientific research on an approved criminological or law enforcement topic, showcasing methodological capability and critical analysis.
Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding:
- CLO1: Formulate research questions and conceptual/theoretical frameworks.
- CLO2: Design and implement a scientific research methodology (sampling, instruments).
- CLO3: Collect and clean empirical field data, analyzing it with SPSS or qualitative methods.
- CLO4: Write a comprehensive academic thesis and defend it before a Viva Board.
